When you sponsor Classical 89 you target an affluent, influential, and well-educated
audience. Nearly 70% of our listeners have earned a college degree and of those
more than 25% hold an advanced degree and earn a premium salary.
Why Sponsor Classical 89?
More than 10% of Classical 89 Listeners enjoy household incomes of $150,000 or more.
Another 19% earn $100,000 to $150,000. All told, nearly 30% of Classical 89's weekly
audience enjoys an annual income of $100,000 or more.
Together, Classical 89 listeners earn nearly $4.8 billion per year. And because
listeners tend to be older, a disproportionate portion of that income is discretionary.
What do they do with their money? They invest it. And they spend it.
Classical 89 listeners are nearly twice as likely at the average adult to have $250,000
or more in liquid assets. More than two thirds of listeners own investment instruments
like CDs, IRAs and 401(k)s.
But they don't invest it all. They spend some of it. On things like banking services;
investment advice; imported cars; fine furniture; and anything and everything related
to the arts.
Sponsorship Packages
At Classical 89, our sponsorship philosophy is simple. We’re a not-for-profit organization.
We need to generate a portion of our funding through sponsorships. If sponsors will
support us, we will be as generous to those sponsors as we can be.
Every fall, we offer a full-year sponsorship package that ensures that each client
will reach all 80,000 Classical 89 listeners with tremendous frequency. We call
it Bravo! For arts organizations, we adhere to the same philosophy, but the packages
include fewer announcements and are easier on modest marketing budgets.
We also make it easy and affordable for any sponsor to run announcements in flights
ranging from a few days to a few months.
Please speak with one of our sales representatives for a customized quote. Like
our other clients, once you learn how incredible the audience is, and how economical
it is to reach it, you’ll be sold. And classical radio will live another day.
