Finding Work-Life Harmony
Balance: The word crops up a lot in today's world. We're thinking aloud with two experts on some surprisingly simple approaches you can take to achieve more balance and the benefits that follow. Our guests are Jenet Jacob and Jeffrey Hill, from the School of Family Life at Brigham Young University. Dr. Jacob's research focuses on the wellbeing of mothers, particularly in the experience of work and family life. Dr. Hill's research examines finding harmony between paid work and family life.nbsp; Before coming to BYU he was a work and family subject matter expert at IBM where he pioneered many flexible work options including paternity leave, part-time employment, and telecommuting.nbsp; —Original airdate: 1/23/2009
