The Supreme Court and Public Prayer
In May 2014, the Supreme Court issued a surprising ruling in the case of The Town of Greece vs. Galloway. In a 5-4 decision, they decided in favor of the small town of Greece, New York's custom to begin town council meetings with prayer.  Though it appears at first to be just a paltry issue in a powdunk town, this case was significant because of the crucial church vs. state issues it broaches.  Our guest today on Thinking Aloud is Gerard Bradley, a specialist in this very issue.
