Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
It is curious to think that so many of our technological advancements come about in conjunction with military operations. But it may be useful to consider alternate applications for this new technology, especially in non-war scenarios which are dangerous, dirty, or downright dull. Our guests are Randy Beard, a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at BYU, Tim McLean, who teaches mechanical engineering, and Michael A. Goodrich, who teaches courses in Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, and Multi-Agent Systems.—Original airdate: 7/10/2009
