Heritage Instruments
Various individuals from across the state of Utah are interviewed about their heritage instruments--old instruments that they keep and cherish for the stories associated with them and the connections they create to the past. Stories featured include a Revolutionary War soldier's violin that may have been at Valley Forge, a cello that made its way to Utah in a covered wagon, the pipe organ of a 19th century Utahn composer, and a tuba that was carried on a horse all the way to Mexico.—Original airdate: 7/23/2010
