Basque Language
Mikel Morris is a visiting Basque language professor to BYU. He graduated from BYU with a degree in International Relations in 1978 and received a Master of Arts in Hispanic Linguistics and General Linguistics from the University of Colorado in 1984. He has also received a degree in English Philology from the University of the Basque Country in 2001. Since 1979 he has lived in the Basque Country of Northern Spain. He is the founder and owner of the Morris Academy of English Language in Zarautz, Spain, in the heart of the Basque Country. He is fluent in the Basque language and is the author of what is probably today's foremost Basque-English Dictionary as well as other lexicographical aids.
