Thinking Aloud
9-11 and the New America
Five years ago, America was shaken to its knees by a brazen terrorist attack that killed thousands and lent an entirely new meaning to the date of its occurrence? 9-11. On this September 11th, Marcus Smith and Wes Sims visit with Stan Taylor, BYU emeritus professor of political science and the founding director of the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies at Brigham Young University. We'll be talking about the manifold changes in our lives since 9-11, 2001. How do we behave nowadays as a nation and as individuals? Has the "American way of life" been fundamentally, even radically changed?—Original airdate: 9/11/2006
