About Peggy Woodruff
Peggy Petersen Woodruff came to Classical 89 after spending many years as a loyal listener. An accomplished voice artist and actor, Peggy is thrilled to be a part of KBYU-FM and share the music she loves with others. She was born in Salt Lake City and has lived in Utah for much of her life. She has many years of experience in voice work, acting, public speaking, and reading books to her children "with all the voices". She earned a B.A. in Theatre and Cinematic Arts from Brigham Young University and later did graduate work in acting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After studying French for six years, Peggy served a Spanish-speaking mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Rio Grande Valley. Later she learned Portuguese as her family lived in Brazil for three years, where they presided over the Brazil Recife Mission. They have six children and, so far, sixteen grandchildren. Peggy and her family have a long history with BYU and have enjoyed living just blocks away from campus for more than 20 years. She loves children, animals, reading, gardening, good movies, and walking in nature.
